A new nationally operated Manufacturing Advisory Service will focus on helping small and medium sized manufacturers to grow, Business Minister Mark Prisk has announced.

Minister announces quality standard for National Careers Service
Skills Minister John Hayes has unveiled an upgraded and improved standard to underpin the new National Careers Service. The Matrix Standard will promote effective delivery of information, advice and guidance to millions of people through the new National Careers Service, which launches next April.

Second phase of Higher Education Student Finance campaign has launched
If you are from England and studying for your first degree or other higher education course you will not have to pay your tuition fees upfront. Loans are available from the Government and you will also get support towards your living costs.

Awards already being won at Olympic Park, nine months before games begin
